Girl Guides Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporation Amendment Bill

Private Bill
Published date: 28 Apr 2026

Bills are proposals to make a new law or to change an existing one. Only Parliament can pass a bill. Each bill goes through several stages, giving MPs and the public the chance to have their say.

The purpose of this bill is to confirm the powers of the Girl Guides Association of New Zealand Incorporated to do all things necessary for ensuring the welfare of the New Zealand Branch, including the disposition of property on terms that may be inconsistent with the requirements of section 6 of the Girl Guides Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporation Act 1942.
