United Kingdom Free Trade Agreement Legislation Bill

Bills are proposals to make a new law or to change an existing one. Only Parliament can pass a bill. Each bill goes through several stages, giving MPs and the public the chance to have their say.

The single broad policy of this omnibus bill is to amend New Zealand law as part of implementing the Free Trade Agreement between New Zealand and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, signed at London on 28 February 2022.
