COVID-19 Response (Further Management Measures) Legislation Bill

Government Bill
Published date: 05 Jul 2024

Bills are proposals to make a new law or to change an existing one. Only Parliament can pass a bill. Each bill goes through several stages, giving MPs and the public the chance to have their say.

This omnibus bill introduces amendments that will assist New Zealand to respond to the wide-ranging effects of COVID-19, including changes to enable businesses, local government, and others to manage and mitigate the impacts of the response to COVID-19, and to make minor changes to mitigate issues relating to COVID-19.
