Appropriation (2024/25 Confirmation and Validation) Bill

Government Bill
Published date: 29 Apr 2026

Bills are proposals to make a new law or to change an existing one. Only Parliament can pass a bill. Each bill goes through several stages, giving MPs and the public the chance to have their say.

This bill confirms the Public Finance (Transfers Between Outputs) Order 2025 made under section 26A of the Public Finance Act 1989. It also confirms expenses incurred for the 2024/25 financial year with the approval of the Minister of Finance under section 26B of the Public Finance Act 1989, and confirms certain unappropriated expenditure.
