Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) (Provision of Breast Cancer Screening Services) Amendment Bill
Bills are proposals to make a new law or to change an existing one. Only Parliament can pass a bill. Each bill goes through several stages, giving MPs and the public the chance to have their say.
This bill aims to extend the provision of routine free breast cancer screening for New Zealand women by extending the screening age from 69 to 74 while also future-proofing breast cancer screening for future changes in scope, frequency, and eligibility.MP in charge
