Courts Matters Bill
Bills are proposals to make a new law or to change an existing one. Only Parliament can pass a bill. Each bill goes through several stages, giving MPs and the public the chance to have their say.
This bill, together with the Tribunals Powers and Procedures Legislation Bill, forms an integrated package of amendments that will contribute to the goal of a modern, efficient, and effective courts and tribunals system. The Business Committee has agreed to the introduction of this bill as an omnibus bill under Standing Order 263(c).MP in charge
