Land Transport (Clean Vehicle Standard) Amendment Bill (No 2)

Bills are proposals to make a new law or to change an existing one. Only Parliament can pass a bill. Each bill goes through several stages, giving MPs and the public the chance to have their say.

The objective of this bill is to support the achievement of the annual carbon dioxide targets in the Clean Vehicle Standard and to reduce the costs that the Standard could impose on vehicle suppliers and consumers.
